Message to clients:

Hi, I’m Anjely, and I’m here to provide a safe space where you can begin your journey of self-discovery and healing. I believe that therapy is a partnership, and I’m committed to walking alongside you as you work on your healing journey. My approach to therapy is Holistic, which means we focus on deeply understanding all parts of you—to help you feel more connected to yourself and empowered in your life.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I’ve been working in this field for four years. To support my work I’ve also attended seminars on The Psychology of the Chakras: Yoga Philosophy meets Western Psychology in May 2019 and An Introduction to Integral Psychology: Using Integral Theory to Guide Treatment in September 2019, held by RI Mental Health Counselors Association.

I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety/stress, spirituality, emotion regulation, life transitions, self-awareness, self-esteem, self-care, self-exploration, relationship issues, grief/loss, shame/guilt, depression, and trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to better understand themselves, improve their relationship with themselves, others, and life, or explore a holistic/mind-body connection.

You might feel like you’re stuck in patterns you don’t understand or are searching to understand what is behind your actions and feelings. Maybe you sense your past is influencing your present but don’t know how to start unpacking it. You could be overwhelmed by stress and worry or feel like your emotions are running your life, wanting more balance.

Your relationships may feel unbalanced, or you might notice the same patterns repeating with others. Whatever brings you here, I’ll meet you right where you are and help you take the next steps forward.

 In our sessions, you’ll find a compassionate, non-judgmental space where your experiences are welcomed and validated. We’ll work together in exploring how unconscious patterns and past experiences shape who you are today, gaining insights that foster greater self-understanding and empowerment.

I’ll support you in navigating your emotions, learning to see them as valuable guides rather than sources of distress, and develop a healthier relationship with your emotional experiences. We’ll look at your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences to understand their interconnectedness.

We’ll explore how early experiences in your life may influence your current relationships and work to understand these dynamics, and build healthier connections with yourself and others. Our work may also include strengthening the connection between your mind, body, and spiritual aspects to find balance across all areas of your life. My hope is to help you feel more connected to yourself and to those around you, fostering healing.
